Questions about billing and your account
The short answers. Where this page and our Refund & Billing Policy differ, the policy governs.
Billing
How much does it cost?
The current plans and prices are on the pricing page. There is also a free plan, so you can look around before paying anything.
When does billing stop?
January 31, on its own. Dive Down is a football product, so a season runs August 1 through January 31 and billing ends with it. You do not have to remember to cancel — there is no charge outside that window, including a retry of a failed payment.
Does it renew next season?
No. Nothing rolls over into the next season. If you want us again next August, you sign up again — deliberately, so you are never billed for fantasy football in April.
What is the Season Bundle?
One payment for the rest of the season on the Regular League + Draft plan, instead of paying monthly. It costs less than those months would cost one at a time, and because it is a single charge there is no renewal and nothing to remember.
The price depends on how much of the season is left, so it is on the pricing page rather than here. It stops being offered late in the season, once there are too few months left for it to save you anything.
Can I cancel?
On a monthly plan: any time, yourself, from Settings. No fee. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep full access through the end of what you have already paid for, after which the account moves to the free plan.
On a Season Bundle there is nothing to cancel. It is a single payment with no renewal behind it, so there are no future charges to stop, and your access runs to the end of the season either way. Cancelling would not refund unused time and would cost you the credit toward DFS described below, so we do not show the button. If you want the account closed sooner, write to support@divedown.ai.
Do you give refunds?
Two different answers, and the difference matters.
For a change of mind: no. We do not refund partial or unused time, there is no free trial, and there is no money-back guarantee. The free plan is how you evaluate us before paying, and cancelling is how you stop paying.
If we charged you wrongly: always, in full, no argument. A duplicate charge, the wrong amount, a charge after you cancelled, or a charge with no subscription behind it — write to support@divedown.ai and we fix it. That is not at our discretion and it is not subject to the rule above.
What happens if my payment fails?
Our payment processor retries it automatically, and you keep access for at least seven days after the failed charge. We will email you that it failed, when that window closes, and how to update your card. If payment still has not gone through by then, the subscription ends and we stop trying to charge you.
The account then moves to the free plan — unless you had already paid for Regular League + Draft for the season, in which case you keep it through January 31. You paid for those months, and a failed charge on a different plan does not take them away.
Can I switch plans mid-season?
You can move up to the DFS plan at any time from Settings. How it is priced depends on how you are paying now.
Paying monthly: we charge the prorated difference for the rest of your current month, and your billing date does not move.
On a Season Bundle: we credit what you paid for it against the DFS price and charge the reduced amount today, then bill that same reduced amount each month to the end of the season. You will never pay more for the season this way than DFS would have cost you for the same months. We show you every figure before anything is charged, and it cannot be undone.
Moving back down mid-season is not offered. Cancelling in order to re-subscribe on the cheaper plan is not a way around that — you would lose access you have already paid for, and we would not sell you months you already own.
Your account and your card
Do you store my card number?
No. Your card details are entered on our payment processor’s own secure form and never reach Dive Down. All we keep is the brand, the last four digits and the expiry date, so you can recognise the card in Settings.
Why is my card still on file after the season?
So returning next August is one click instead of retyping everything. We do not charge it while you are away. You can ask us to delete it at any time without deleting your account — though if a subscription is billing monthly, removing the card cancels it, because a recurring charge needs a card.
Do prices include sales tax?
No, and we do not currently collect sales tax. If we are ever required to in your state, it would be added to charges after that starts, with at least 30 days’ notice.
How do I delete my account?
Write to support@divedown.ai. We also handle removing your saved card and disconnecting a linked platform there.
Something looks wrong on my bill.
Contact us before disputing it with your bank — support@divedown.ai. Billing errors are refunded in full on request, so you do not need a card dispute to get your money back, and reaching us directly is faster. Include the date and amount of the charge and the email on your account.
Still stuck?
Write to support@divedown.ai. A person reads it.
